Ismaila Soro's bundle of Celtic joy snap as new cult hero brings life to flagging season

Celtic's recent wretched run was likely due to a number of factors but one certainly wasn't Neil Lennon failing to try something different

From 3-5-2 to 4-2-3-1, Tom Rogic at a No.10, Albian Ajeti and Patryk Klimala earning chances, the Irishman did try and find solutions to the glaring problems on the pitch.

But the introduction of pocket rocket Ismaila Soro has really worked and the Ivory Coast star has been pivotal in the wins over Lille and Kilmarnock.

The 22-year-old is everywhere on the pitch and his energy burst coupled with David Turnbul l's classy contribution has helped Celtic massively.

But lets get one thing clear, Soro is no water carrier, his telling forward passes have been a highlight of the past 180 minutes. The pace has certainly been lifted since he replaced Scott Brown.

His winning smile and can-do attitude has proved a smash hit with Hoops fans on social meda and one particular snap encapsulated what they like so much about the former Bnei Yehuda man.

He was over the moon, much like the fanbase watching from home, as he hugged goalscorer Shane Duffy with all his might after the big Irishman netted the second goal.
