According to the Harrow Times, Liverpool have made contact with the Hornets over a potential move for the Senegalese winger.
And are suggested to be one of three Premier League clubs trying to test the recently relegated side's resolve.
What?
Well, we all know this lad is talented. We saw it at Anfield last season and indeed in that shock 3-0 loss at Vicarage Road.
He does look a bright spark and you feel the London club will do well to keep hold of him this summer.
Whether the Reds are actually interested and have contacted Watford remains speculation at this time.
Aissa Mandi
Who?
Real Betis defender.
Where?
beIN SPORTS, cited here, are claiming Liverpool are closing in on the signing of the £9m rated Aissa Mandi.
They suggest Jurgen Klopp is keen on acquiring the 28-year-old as Dejan Lovren's replacement.
What?
No idea on this one to be honest. Mandi seems the right age and a fair price to come in as back-up.
But it does feel like more speculation for the time being.
