Ismaila Sarr has spoken out on transfer speculation linking him with a move to Liverpool.
The Senegal international was heavily linked with a move to the Reds last year and is believed to have been one of Jurgen Klopp 's summer targets before ultimately signing Diogo Jota from Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Sarr’s agent, Thierno Seydi, previously revealed that Liverpool had agreed contract terms with the winger only for Watford to price the Reds out of a move.
However, having ended up staying at Vicarage Road, the 23-year-old has distanced himself from such speculation when recently asked about his future.
“I think they are just rumours because I'm enjoying it here," he told the Watford Observer. “I still have three years on my contract, and I'm focused on Watford and I want to stay.”
Watford are currently on track to secure an immediate return to the Premier League with Xisco Munoz's side sitting second in the Championship table.
And Sarr is the Hornets' leading goalscorer so far this year, scoring 10 goals from 35 appearances.
