Islington stabbings: Two teens fighting for life after linked knife attacks

Two teenagers are fighting for their lives after being stabbed in North London.

Police were called shortly after 5.30pm to the scene in Islington, where a 17-year-old boy was critically injured.

And 10 minutes later a second teen, aged 18, was also found suffering stab wounds nearby.

A Met Police statement said: "Officers attended along with London Ambulance Service and found a male, thought to be aged 17 years, suffering stab injuries.

"Around ten minutes later, a second teenager was found suffering stab injuries in Sussex Close, N19.

"The male – believed to be aged 18 years – was also taken to hospital.

"At this early stage, the condition of both males has been assessed as life-threatening."

Both stabbings are thought to be linked, and no arrests have been made.
