A 35-year-old man is accused of filming several women through their windows in the early hours of the morning.
Anthony Durkan, 35, from Islington, north London, has been charged with 19 counts of voyeurism between January 2020 and March 2026.
He was charged on May 11 and is due to appear at Highbury Corner Magistrates’ Court on July 21.
It is alleged that he filmed women through the windows of their homes in Islington in the early hours of the morning without them knowing.
Metropolitan Police, which released details of the case on Wednesday, says it wants to hear from anyone who believes they may have been affected by this case.
Detective Chief Inspector Gemma Alger said: “We understand news like this will cause concern within the local community, particularly among women living in the area. I want to reassure the public that these allegations are being treated with the utmost seriousness.
“At this time, there is no information to suggest there is any wider risk to the community.
“We recognise that coming forward can feel daunting, but anyone who contacts us will be listened to, supported and guided by specialist officers. The information you share could be vital to our investigation.”
Detectives believe other people might have information relevant to the investigation and urged them to come forward.
