Isle of Harris Gin are to open a gift shop in Glasgow as plans for a new exclusive gin bar in the city are put on hold as a result of the coronavirus hospitality restrictions.
Having had to postpone the original opening date for the gin bar three times, Isle of Harris Distillers have made the difficult decision to cancel all scheduled events in the bar for the time being.
However, the good news is that as of today, the upstairs of Café Gandolfi in the Merchant City - where the bar was to be located - will instead be operating as an Isle of Harris Gin Giftshop.
The giftshop will be open from 11am to 5pm from Wednesday to Friday for people to purchase early Christmas presents and gin supplies fresh from the Isle of Harris.
It can be accessed via the Gandolfi Café – situated on the first floor.
