Isis, Media, Mode, The Works in 27 photos from Nottingham nightclubs in the Noughties

If you're in your 30s or early 40s now, you probably enjoyed going out in Nottingham during what could be considered the golden age of clubbing.

The Noughties - from 2000 to 2009 - was certainly the pinnacle of the big, bold, brash nightclub, at the very least, even if other tastes weren't always so well catered for.

Isis, Mode, The Works, Media (later Gatecrasher), Halo, Ocean - all of these and more welcomed thousands of clubbers through their doors every weekend (and pretty often during the week, too).

Not all of them would last the decade. The Works closed in 2005, for example, and Halo shut its doors in 2009.

But we've put together a gallery of some of the photos of the decade from these clubs while they were still in their heyday.

Have a look to see if you can spot yourself - and good luck!
