Isis has reportedly been celebrating the brutal attacks carried out in Brussels by handing out sweets to adults and children in an area of Syria.
The terrorist group released pictures appearing to show residents and children in the Dier Ezzor province being given sweets in "joy of the blessed attack against the Crusaders in Brussels," according to MailOnline.
One man in the pictures who is smiling as he hands out the sweets appears to be wearing a shoulder holster.
The three bomb attacks in Brussels carried out early on Tuesday morning at Brussels Airport and the Maelbeek Metro station killed at least 31 people and injured more than 200 people. Isis has claimed responsibility for the attack.
The two suicide bombers who carried out the attacks in Brussels airport have been identified as brothers Khalid and Brahim el-Bakraoui. A third suspect, Najim Laachraoui, is believed to have made the bombs for the attack and is being hunted by police.
A Peruvian mother-of-two, Adelma Tapia Ruiz, is the first victim to have been named from the attacks. She was killed at the airport where she had been due to travel to the US with her husband three-year-old twins. It is believed her husband and children survived.
A British man, David Dixon, has been missing since the time of the attack and is understood to have been travelling to work on the Metro system. Originally from Nottingham, Dixon, a computer programmer, works in the city centre.
