ISIS bride Shamima Begum's husband says third baby's death is 'living nightmare'

The jihadi husband of Shamima Begum says the couple are enduring a 'living nightmare' after their third child together died shortly after being born.

Yago Riedijk, 27, currently detained in a Kurdish-run camp in Syria, said Begum was 'the perfect wife'.

The teenager, from Bethnal Green in east London, wants to return to the UK but has had her citizenship revoked.

Riedijk said the couple have been left heartbroken by the deaths of their three babies.

Speaking to  The Times , Riedijk, originally from the Netherlands, said: “Me and her, we loved them so much it’s a nightmare.

Home Secretary Sajid Javid stripped Begum of her British citizenship. She now lives in a refugee camp near the Iraqi border.

The couple’s first two infants — a girl and boy — died of malnutrition. Begum has admitted she would have raised her first son to be an ISIS soldier.

The ISIS bride was only 15 when she ran away from her home in east London to join the terror group in 2015.

Before turning 16, she married Riedijk who was then a 23-year-old man.

Begum, claims she was “just a housewife” and should be allowed to return to the UK.

Shamima clings to the belief that she is the victim after leaving her family's home in Bethnal Green, east London, in 2015 and travelling to Syria with two other schoolgirls to join ISIS.

She has given a number of interviews to British media, saying she wants to return to Britain.

Other ISIS brides are reported to hate her due to her recent "fame" and she claims she is living in fear and there has been talk within the camp of her tent being torched.

She also moaned about being "discriminated against" for being the "poster girl" for ISIS brides.
