ISIS bride 'back in Britain' after having arm and breast blown off in Syria

A bride who claims she was "duped into joining ISIS" before having her arm and breast blown off is allegedly back in Britain.

Samia Hussein had her left arm and a part of her breast blown off by a bomb dropped by coalition forces in Syria, according to reports.

According to The Sun, the 25-year-old tried to return to the UK via Heathrow using her British passport - however was reportedly stopped by anti-terror police.

A source claimed she returned to London on February 12 — believed to be on a flight from Turkey.

She is now allegedly being investigated for her time in Syria.

A source told the publication: “Her links and claims are being forensically investigated.”

Last year, the family of Hussein, who left the UK to study in Nairobi, Kenya, claimed she was "brainwashed" by the terror group during her time in the country.

They said she attended the United States International University in the capital city and "was working hard there".

Samia, from Southall, west London, was reportedly approached by terrorists and told she would be helping children in need.

She was found to be living alongside IS bride Shamima Begum in the Kurdish-run al-Hawl refugee camp in northern Syria last year following the fall of Baghouz.

The Met told The Sun she has been detained on suspicion of membership of a banned organisation, under Section 11 of the Terrorism Act 2000.

It added: “Enquiries remain ongoing.”
