Popular YouTuber and Twitch star IShowSpeed, also known as Speed, has officially announced a Fortnite tournament that will bring together 100 fellow streamers and a whopping $100,000 prize pool.
Speed announced this during a video call with fellow content creator Nicholas “Jynxzi” Stewart in the middle of his live stream. As Jynxzi also confirmed the plans for the tournament, it’s expected that these two content creators will collaborate to organise this in the upcoming weeks.

While most details regarding the Fortnite tournament remain a mystery, Speed and Jynxzi confirmed a few things during the former’s live stream. In addition to the $100,000 prize pool, the tournament will feature 100 streamers. However, the details about who these streamers will be remain in question.
Considering Speed’s collaborations throughout his content creation career, it won’t be surprising if some of the industry’s most popular and renowned content creators join in on the action.
While talking on the call during his live stream, IShowSpeed asked Jynxzi to announce their plans for the “upcoming weeks.” The latter replied, “Gigantic Fortnite tournament, one hundred streamers, $100,000 prize pool.” After that, Speed addressed his stream to state, “We are gonna do that in the upcoming weeks. Okay? So, you all better stay tuned.”
Following this brief exchange, Speed changed the topic of the conversation, but it seems certain that more information about this upcoming Fortnite tournament will be revealed soon. With the duo confirming that the tournament will happen over the next few weeks, it will be interesting to see which streamers take part in it, and more importantly, who will walk away as the champion.
