IShowSpeed reveals plans for The Walking Dead marathon stream next month

IShowSpeed is getting ready for another marathon stream, where this time, he has chosen Telltale’s The Walking Dead series.

The creator’s next mega-stream is scheduled to go live on March 6, where he plans to play through the entire story-driven saga in one long session.

Speed has planned to go live with a fully themed broadcast room built around The Walking Dead, which is known for its apocalyptic aesthetic and emotional tone.

The rule says he can’t end the stream until he finishes the series, and longtime viewers will know that the concept fits neatly into his pattern, where he turns streams into challenges, with conditions keeping him locked in until the goal is met.

This time, the game is a choice-heavy one, as The Walking Dead is popular for its branching decisions, character-driven storytelling, and dramatic moments filled with tension.

Pair that with Speed’s rule of not ending the stream until the series is completed means it will be an intense, drawn-out stream where fatigue and decision-making could probably collide in different ways.

Beyond The Walking Dead marathon, Speed has already turned 2026 into a statement year on stream. In January, he kicked off an ambitious Speed Does Africa tour, streaming IRL content from over a dozen countries across the continent, including South Africa, Kenya, Zambia, Rwanda, and more.

Those broadcasts have ranged from shark diving in South Africa to safari adventures and city walks, often running for several hours at a time and pulling tens of thousands of concurrent viewers.

That tour also delivered one of the biggest milestones of his career so far. On Jan. 21, 2026, Speed’s YouTube channel crossed 50 million subscribers on his 21st birthday while he was stuck in a traffic jam in Lagos, Nigeria.

With more than 50 million subscribers behind him and a track record of turning long-form, challenge-style content into major moments, Speed’s decision to play and stream Telltale’s The Walking Dead will be a treat to watch.
