Isco transfer: Two Premier League clubs waiting on Real Madrid decision

Manchester United and Manchester City are waiting expectantly on Real Madrid to make a decision regarding midfield maestro Isco .

Isco's future at the Los Blancos is currently unclear, with Spanish publication Sport reporting that Madrid are considering selling the star this summer.

The Spaniard has had a relatively quiet season by his accounts, and the club feel they could raise at least £120 million from his sale.

United, City and PSG are all interested in signing the 27-year-old, and are poised to make a move if Madrid reveal they are open to a transfer.

Boss Zinedine Zidane will have the final say, but could show Isco the exit door along with fellow United target Gareth Bale.

Zidane feels the transfer fee Isco would command would perhaps be a better alternative than keeping him at the Santiago Bernabeu.

Isco currently earns an annual salary of six million euros, which could also be used elsewhere.

The former Malaga man has made just 16 starts in all competitions for his side this season, with most of his appearances coming off the bench.

It has been a disappointing season for the La Liga side, who finished almost 20 points off the pace of rivals Barcelona in the table, finishing third behind neighbours Atletico.

The club are now set for a summer rebuild, with Chelsea's Eden Hazard and Man Utd's Paul Pogba both heavily linked.

The club's fans on who their club should sign, with Hazard coming out on top, and another rumoured target, Christian Eriksen, coming third.

With Lyon central midfielder Tanguy Ndombele also on Zidane's radar, it seems likely that Isco will be sold to make room for new arrivals.

One player almost certain to stay is midfield general Toni Kroos.

The German was confident he would not be displaced in the Madrid first-team regardless of who the club signs, providing he is playing to his capabilities.

When asked about Pogba, Kroos said: "I like this player but nothing changes for me.

"I will continue doing what I've done all these years, fighting for my place, playing well, and when I'm at a good level I think I have no problems."
