Isco makes Real Madrid transfer decision after Premier League interest

Spanish star Isco has reportedly decided to stay at Real Madrid after the appointment of Zinedine Zidane as manager.

The midfield maestro was snubbed by previous boss Santiago Solari and looked set for a summer exit.

Manchester United , Liverpool and Manchester City were amongst those said to be interested in his signature, along with Juventus and other European giants.

But that all changed last month when Solari was given the boot and replaced by Zidane, under whom Isco previously played a major role.

According to Marca, the 26-year-old has now decided he definitely wants to stay at the Bernabeu and, with a contract until 2022, he will reject any inquiries regarding his future.

Zidane is still looking to evaluate Isco as he plots a summer clear-out, and he could yet still be deemed transferrable.

Yet having decided he would have no option but to leave if Solari stayed, his attitude has now changed and he is looking to remain in the Spanish capital and fight for his place.

During Zidane's first stint in charge, only two players played more matches than Isco as he helped them win three Champions League titles and started the last two finals.

Isco's family situation is also reported to be a factor set to keep him in Madrid.

He has a son who lives between Malaga and Madrid who he still has close contact with, whilst he is expecting another baby with his current partner, Sara Salamo.

As a result, the likes of City, United and Liverpool look highly unlikely to be able to tempt the 34-cap Spain international to the Premier League any time soon.
