The 6th annual Isan Creative Festival is set to return next month, inviting visitors to discover new regional possibilities and answer the ultimate question: "What can Isan do?"
Running from July 11-19 between 11am and 9pm, this highly anticipated event will take place across four main hubs in Khon Kaen province -- TCDC Khon Kaen, Central Khon Kaen Campus, the Srichan Creative Economy District and the Khon Kaen International Convention and Exhibition Center -- with additional locations throughout the Northeast.
Organised by the Creative Economy Agency in close collaboration with a network spanning 20 northeastern provinces, the festival serves as a premier platform to display the region's cultural power and business potential.
This year, the event rallies under the visionary theme "Northeast Modern: Ready, Adaptable, Friendly And Enjoyable". Far from being a mere superficial rebranding, the theme captures the authentic spirit and modern pride of Isan's new generation.
It mirrors a community deeply anchored in its cultural heritage yet remarkably agile in seizing global marketplace opportunities.
Over its successful five-year legacy, the Isan Creative Festival has matured into a powerful economic engine, empowering local talent to return home, launch innovative ventures and build sustainable careers.
