Based on statistics from Downdetector.com, complaints about the service going down started streaming in quickly, hitting an all-time high of more than 107,000 user complaints.
Thousands Report Issues With Access and Gameplay
At 7:56 p.m. ET, Downdetector logged at least 3,737 confirmed reports of service interruption. According to Reuters, the actual number of impacted users is probably much greater, since Downdetector collects data through user-reported status posts, social media posts, and error messages, and these might not reflect the full extent of the outage.
To many players, this blackout was being barred from their experiences—virtual worlds, minigames, and events that shape the social world of "Roblox." For some users, the creator should explain why the downtime happened in the first place.
Despite the magnitude of the disruption, Roblox Corporation has not publicly commented on the matter. Through the most recent update, there has been no official statement or explanation shared on the website or social media platforms of the company.
Reuters said it contacted the company but received no immediate reply.
