The good news - read: the absolutely amazing news - is that many hairdressers will be opening their doors once more next month.
The slightly less attractive news is that that's still four weeks away, at least, and our tresses at this stage are tired, strung out and frankly fed-up.
You may then consider investing in a moisturising hair mask, in order to restore your locks to a semblance of their former glory.
In fact, Google has noted a 200 per cent uptick in searches for 'hair masks' since the end of March, with sales of hair masks up by 337 per cent on Cult Beauty. The beauty here is that while whipping on a hair mask may not be office etiquette, anything flies when you WFH - what's to stop you slapping on a mask while you type away at your laptop or take calls in your headphones? Absolutely nothing, quite frankly.
Simply apply post-shampoo and wrap your hair up in a fluffy towel, braid it or pile it on top of your head with a mammoth hair claw and let your locks marinate in a divinely-scented and nourishing mask. Et voila! A luscious head of hydrated hair.
