Is your charity prepared for potential risk and crises?

Risks, whether they are emerging, funding focused, cyber based or simply reputational, are all very real. They may pose unexpected threats to your charity, which you are not prepared for.

If a trustee tweeted something negative about your organisation and it was picked up by the media would you know how to respond? If the building housing your IT server burnt down have you got a plan? Do you know what risks might be on the horizon?

The Guardian are running a series of free events for charity leaders in association with Zurich. These evening seminars will shed light on the different areas of risk that threaten the third sector. The aim is to bring together charity leaders to share their experiences and best practice, providing opportunities to learn from and question expert speakers in addition to network with peers. Each event will feature a panel discussion sharing first hand experiences and insight, followed by smaller facilitated round table discussion groups and refreshments and networking.

The first event took place in November and focused on how charities should respond to a crisis. The next events in the series will take place in February, April and July. Please see below for further details.
