Twitter users say the site appears to have gone down tonight.
Users started reported problems with the social media site on Friday evening.
And Down Detector site which monitors issues with sites say there has been a huge spike in people reporting issues with it from around 10pm.
Many users said there timelines were blank with messages saying there was "nothing to see here" or "something went wrong, try again."
One said: "twitter is down, what am i supposed to do???"
Another added: "Twitter is down. No mentions, feed. No nothing!"
Whilst others started posting embarrassing posts joking that no one would see them.
There is not yet an official reason for the issue, and Twitter has not yet commented on the problem.
