Is TRNSMT on the TV - where and when to watch the coverage of the music festival

TRNSMT is now in full swing as thousands of revellers descend on the Glasgow Green site for the second day of the weekend festival.

Last night saw Paolo Nutini make an incredible return to form as he closed the Main Stage after an exciting schedule of delights throughout today.

And there is more in store for music fans, with The Strokes headlining the festival this evening.

Other first class acts on the star-studded line up over today and tomorrow include the likes of Foals, Nina Nesbitt and Wolf Alice.

Lewis Capaldi will bring the festival to a conclusion when he performs on the Main Stage on Sunday evening.

Around 50,000 people are expected at Glasgow Green on each of the days of the festival.

Yesterday saw TRNSMT organisers confirm that this year’s festival is now a sell-out event, with the final tickets flying out the box office.

Is TRNSMT on the TV this year?

For those not fortunate enough to get their hands on a ticket this year, Scots can also catch up on the action through the BBC.

Highlights from the festival will be shown on the BBC Scotland and BBC One Scotland channels at the end of each evening.

Edith Bowman will host a two hour highlights show on BBC Scotland at 10pm tonight and 9pm on Sunday.

There will be a repeat of the Saturday highlights at 12.35am during the early hours of Sunday morning.

Further highlights compilations will be shown on the BBC Scotland channel at 11pm every Friday from July 15 for six weeks.

Selected performance will also be shown in full over on BBC iPlayer - with sets from Paolo Nutini, Saint Phnx, Nile Rodgers and Chic and Ella Henderson on there already.

Friday's highlights are also on iPlayer at the moment.
