Is Tottenham vs Fulham on TV tonight? Kick-off time, channel and how to watch Premier League fixture

Photograph: AFP via Getty

Tottenham Hotspur will hope to show their title credentials once more on Wednesday night when they host Fulham in the Premier League. This fixture was originally postponed a couple of weeks ago, but has been hastily rescheduled after an outbreak of coronavirus within the Aston Villa squad.

The short time to prepare has left Scott Parker decidedly unimpressed, though Spurs counterpart Jose Mourinho sees it as a positive that his team are still able to play, having been due to face Villa before a series of fixtures were altered by the league at the start of the week.

Spurs were top before Christmas and remain in the top four, but a win here will take them within a point of champions Liverpool, despite having recently gone four games without a win. They beat Marine with ease in the FA Cup at the weekend.

Fulham need to take the points themselves in their battle against relegation, after four successive league draws - though they could be level with Brighton by the end of the night if they win and Seagulls lose. Fulham also won in the FA Cup at the weekend, beating QPR 2-0.

What is the team news?

Erik Lamela is in contention for a recall after being left out following a rule-breach. Giovani Lo Celso is still out, though, and Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg is also a doubt for Spurs, but should start.

Fulham could have a full squad to choose from, after resting a host of names at the weekend. Scott Parker’s big decision comes with who to start in attack out of Aleksandar Mitrovic and Ademola Lookman.

Confirmed line-ups

Tottenham: Lloris, Aurier, Dier, Sanchez, Reguilon, Sissoko, Hojbjerg, Winks, Ndombele, Son, Kane

Fulham: Areola, Aina, Andersen, Adarabioyo; Tete, Loftus-Cheek, Reed, Anguissa, Robinson, Cavaleiro, De Cordova-Reid

Odds

Tottenham - 5/12

Draw - 43/10

Fulham - 8/1

Prediction

Spurs’ opponent might have changed but if anything it’s for the better with a home game and weaker team, while Fulham come into this on short notice and not having been planning a fixture at all, making tactical work difficult. Home win as a result. Spurs 3-1 Fulham.
