Is this your pet? SSPCA appeal to reunite West Lothian owner with cat involved in traffic accident

The Scottish SPCA have launched an appeal to find a cat that was brought in following a road traffic accident.

The cat is a male and is black with white markings on his chest, neck and paws.

He is believed to be from the Livingston area and will have now been missing for a number of days.

The cat was brought into the centre following a traffic accident on Ladywell Fastlink, opposite Ryebank on Houston Road, on the A899 - the busy road runs through Livingston, Uphall and Broxburn.

In a post to Facebook with a picture of the cat, the SSPCA asked: "Does anyone from Livingston recognise this cat?"

"We are keen to trace the owner as we are sure they will be worried not having seen him for a few days."

If you think this is your cat, you can contact the SSPCA's animal helpline on 03000 999 999.
