It looks like Coronation Street's Robert Preston has found a new romance after splitting from Michelle Connor, in the shape of new character Vicky Jefferies.
Robert, played by Tristan Gemmill, has been spotted smooching mouthy Vicky, played by Kerri Quinn, on the doorstep as the soap filmed new scenes.
The bistro boss was left heartbroken when Michelle told him she didn't want to start a family with him and urged him to walk away.
And it seems he has - into the arms of teen thug Tyler's mum.
Fans are aware that Kym Marsh, who plays Michelle, is leaving Corrie after 13 years, but she has assured this isn't the last we've heard of the barmaid and restaurant manager.
Kym previously said in a statement about leaving the soap: “When I was lucky enough to be offered four episodes on Coronation Street I could never in my wildest dreams have thought I’d be here 13 years later.
“It’s been an incredibly difficult decision but it feels like the right time for me to take a break from the show and explore some other roles.
“But this isn’t the last you’ve heard of Michelle Connor, she’ll be back! I can’t wait to see what the writers have in store for the future.”
A grieving Michelle made a life-changing decision earlier this year after fearing she had suffered a miscarriage.
Michelle suspected she was pregnant and rushed to hospital after a football hit her hard in the stomach.
When she was told that her pregnancy test was negative, and that she had never been pregnant, she made the difficult decision to never to have another child.
The anguish over a suspected miscarriage had brought back painful memories for Michelle of the death of her beloved son Ruari at 23 weeks of pregnancy in 2017.
A tearful Michelle told Robert she can't give him the baby he longs for and left her reeling by saying cruelly: "We can't have our lives dictated by Ruari dying."
Gobby Vicky, whose son Tyler worked for Robert at the bistro, was recently revealed as one of violent loan shark Rick Neelan’s clients.
She arrived on the cobbles back in September 2018 as the mother of troublesome gang leader Tyler and landed a job at the Underworld factory.
This upset boss Carla Connor's ex Peter Barlow because his son Simon was being bullied by Tyler.
Peter found her a job at another knicker factory but she made a comeback after Tyler got underage Amy Barlow pregnant.
