Is this the most Nottingham thing ever? Cob revives man who collapsed in city centre

A collapsed man in the city centre was saved by a cob.

The type 1 diabetic had low blood sugar and collapsed in the Lace Market area.

CPOs came to the man's aid and gave him a cob which brought him back around.

He then went to the walk in centre for a check-up.

Nottingham City CPOs tweeted about the incident.

They said: "Following reports of a male collapsed in the Lace Market area the male was found to be a type 1 diabetic with low blood sugar. Following ingestion of a cob the male returned to full consciousness and went on his way towards the walk in centre for further checkups."

Things to do Notts replied: "Love the Nottinghamness of this Tweet #cob. Well done Team."

Why is a bread roll called a cob in Nottingham?
