Traditional Sunday lunch has been taken to the next level at Nottingham's elevated fine dining restaurant and bar Six.
Its take on the usual roast has extra finesse, inspired by Michelin starred chef Tom Sellers.
Diners, who want more than a pile-it-high carvery, can look forward to salt-aged sirloin of beef accompanied by lemon and horseradish bone marrow, heritage carrots, summer greens, roast potatoes cooked in beef fat and Yorkshire pudding.
"We wanted to take a step towards a more traditional Sunday lunch while adding our own flair in keeping with the spirit of Six," said Richard Leckie, head chef at the rooftop venue at Trent Bridge, the home of Notts County Cricket Club.
"We're thankful to Tom Sellers and his team who have supported us in developing a new menu which we're proud to serve to Nottingham."
Diners may also opt for pork or venture off-piste with Cornish cod or summer vegetable risotto, while enjoying views of not just the cricket ground, but over West Bridgford and Nottingham.
New starters include a rabbit terrine with tarragon and pickled carrot, while a dark chocolate delice, cherry and almond tart, and lemon posset compete for the attention of dessert-lovers.
A three-course lunch will set diners back £39, or two courses are available for £33.
Sunday service at Six runs from noon to 4pm with the bar and terrace remaining open until 7pm.
