Is this Stockport's most unique home? Inside the property that's gone viral as an 'absolute gaff'

A unique property in Stockport has come on the market and wowed social media.

Church House on Corbar Road is a detached seven-bedroom property that was formerly a church, meaning it has a wealth of period features and character.

Originally shared on estate agents Reeds Rains Facebook account, it's attracted hundreds of comments - with many locals saying they'd always wondered what the house looked like inside.

Some have said the home is 'stunning' whilst tagging others, saying that they need to move there. Others have said it looks like something designed on EA game The Sims.

"What an absolute gaff!" said another.

The house, which is near Stockport Grammar School, is now listed on Rightmove for £950,000, with the listing describing the sale as an 'incredibly rare opportunity'.

Originally named First Church of Christ Scientist, the red brick hexagonal building was built in 1933 and designed by Arnold England of Lytham St Annes.
