The nation is currently celebrating 70 years of Queen Elizabeth II on the throne.
Her Majesty is Britain's longest-reigning monarch and the first British monarch to celebrate a Platinum Jubilee. To mark the historic event, the UK has a huge array of public events planned to celebrate including parades, street parties and an extra bank holiday.
Many people have gathered with their friends and family to celebrate the four-day weekend, but some are already asking when the next bank holiday is.

Is Monday a bank holiday?
Monday, June 6, is not part of the bank holiday weekend, and so most people will be expected to go back to work. The bank holiday period for the Platinum Jubilee began on Thursday, June 2 and finishes on Sunday, June 5.
The next bank holiday is not until August 29.
