Is the Biscuit Factory set to be transformed into 'adults only' Fore Play Crazy Golf venue?

The Biscuit Factory in Leith is set to be transformed into an 'adults only' crazy golf venue in the coming months, Edinburgh Live understands.

Glasgow-based business Fore Play is set to open a pop-up in the city this spring – with crazy golf games, music, cocktails and plenty of street food on offer.

It is believed that the famous old Leith venue, on Anderson Place, will be home to the pop-up for the duration of its stay in the city.

The experience has gone down a storm since opening their first Fore Play venue in Glasgow in 2018, with 50,000 people visiting and a turnover in excess of £600,000 generated.

Owners Craig and Kasia Neilson have devised a creative cocktail venue, featuring pun-tastic creations such as the 'Sugar Caddy' and 'Long Ironed Iced Tea' while the brilliantly named resident golf cart 'Cartii B' will also be in attendance.

Announcing news that they'd be bringing the crazy golf experience to Edinburgh earlier this week, Kasia said, “It was always part of the plan to create a fast-growth business and to roll out Fore Play across Scotland, but we have definitely been surprised at just how fast things have moved and can’t wait to bring our pop-up to Edinburgh.”

She added, “Fore Play Crazy Golf is so much more than just a golf experience. It’s about the food, the drinks, the music and the vibe - and it’s this winning formula that’s proving so successful with Scottish consumers.

“We have no doubt that Edinburgh punters will love it too and we’re excited to announce more details about our pop-up in due course.”
