October is the time for all things scary – but, even in fiction, can chilling tales be taken too far?
This question was somewhat answered by the US release of Terrifier 2 which, despite its 91 per cent audience rating on Rotten Tomatoes, is sending viewers into a frenzy.
According to reports, emergency services have been called for watchers who have passed out from the intensity, while other movie-goers have reportedly vomited from the gore.
The movie stars Art the Clown, star of the first Terrifierfilm, who chooses victims to haunt: a young teenage girl Sienna (Lauren LaVera) and her brother, Jonathan (Elliot Fullam).
