Is Taylor Swift in Ireland? Social media explodes after TikTok member suggests star is here

Social media has exploded following a TikTok video suggesting that Taylor Swift is in Belfast.

TV Producer Aaron Nelson posted a video to his TikTok account saying: "Taylor Swift is in Northern Ireland, and I am in Northern Ireland to film a TV programme."

"What does this mean?

"Maybe it doesn't mean anything, or maybe it means something. TikTok, I'll let you decide."

The freelance producer, who has worked on TV programmes such as You’ve Been Framed and Coronation Street landed in Belfast from London on Wednesday.

After posting the video earlier , fans across the country were sent into a frenzy.

The short video has attracted over 120,000 views on the platform, with comments flying in demanding confirmation of the news.

One user said, “don’t tease us like this. The fandom doesn’t take this lightly.”

Another said, “I’m not emotionally prepared for her to be in Northern Ireland. My son and I need to meet her.”

Some fans reported that they saw Swift at Victoria Square in the city centre.

The conversation has now moved to Twitter, with ‘Taylor Swift’ trending in Belfast with a tweet volume of 57.9K.

Some fans have suggested that Swift is visiting her boyfriend, Joe Alwyn, as he films a TV show called Conversations With Friends.

The 30-year-old English Actor has played leading roles in Operation Finale, The Favourite and Harriet.

He also won a Grammy Award for Album of the year for Swifts 2020 album Folklore, which he co-
produced.

According to Elle magazine, the pair have been together for over four years.
