An Instagram post has prompted speculation that Taylor Swift is currently in Northern Ireland.
A picture claiming to show the singer in Belfast for a wrap party to celebrate the end of filming for 'Conversations With Friends' has sent Swifties in the city searching for confirmation.
The image has been shared widely on social media, with one fan tweeting: "Taylor Swift is in Belfast. She is in the same country as me. I need an oxygen tank."
Another said: "Hate my life. What’s the point in living in Belfast if I didn’t even randomly bump into Taylor Swift."
A third added: "Think this is a sign to go on a little trip to Belfast!!"
The cast of new TV show, Conversations With Friends, which began filming in Belfast in April, stars Joe Alwyn, Taylor's boyfriend.
Fans have used this link to the potential reason for Taylor's stint in Belfast.
The 30-year-old English actor has played leading roles in Operation Finale, The Favourite and Harriet.
He also won a Grammy Award for Album of the Year for Swift’s 2020 album Folklore – an album that he co-produced.
The pair have reportedly been going out for over four years, according to Elle Magazine.
