Reports have been doing the rounds for a long time now that Taapsee Pannu has been roped in for Rajkumar Hirani’s next with Shah Rukh Khan. The actress recently rubbished all such rumours and stated that if any such things happen, she will be the one shouting.
Spilling the beans on the same, Taapsee told a news portal that if something like this happens, she will go to her roof and announce it. According to her, this is not the kind of news that should be kept secret. The actress also added that when she signs and seals the deal, she will be the one shouting.
In another interview with PTI, Taapsee also opened up about choosing from more diverse roles, scripts and genres. She said, “If I get a good script, I will not let it go to others whether that means working a little extra, overworking or working for 300 days or more in a year, which I do...I have really worked hard to be in this position where I have so much to choose from.”
Elaborating further, she added, “There was a time when I had to select from the worst of the scripts for the sake of being visible or for being around. I have seen those days, so now when I am getting to choose from more diverse roles, scripts and genres, I don't want to become complacent.”
Meanwhile, on the work front, Taapsee has some very interesting projects in her kitty which includes, ‘Rashmi Rocket’, ‘Looop Lapeta’, ‘Dobaaraa’, ‘Shabhaash Mithu’, ‘Woh Ladki Hai Kahan’, ‘Jana Gana Mana’ and ‘Section 375’.
