Is Steelers RB Benny Snell Jr. angling for Le’Veon Bell’s old number?

A post shared by BENNY SNELL JR. (B) (@iambennysnelljr) on

Let me just say, I didn’t think I could like Pittsburgh Steelers running back Benny Snell Jr. any more but his latest Instagram post has convinced me otherwise. The Steelers drafted the former Kentucky star in the fourth round of the 2019 NFL draft and it took him no time firing up the fanbase.

Snell took to IG and shared an edit of him in a Steelers uniform wearing No. 26 and even shared a video and pic of himself with his family and he’s showing off a white No. 26 jersey. We all know that number used to belong to former Steeler Le’Veon Bell. In fairness to Snell, 26 was his college number.

If you didn’t track Snell at all in college you have to understand he is a supremely confident competitor. He plays with a level of passion and energy you can’t help but rally to. If he wants to wear No. 26 and make sure everyone forgets about Bell, so be it.
