Ireland is set for a cold and crisp week of weather as temperatures plummet to below freezing.
Met Eireann has predicted a mainly dry and cold week, with some scattered showers developing as the week continues.
The north and northwest of the country will see the worst of the conditions, with temperatures expected to drop to -3 degrees.
Frosty mornings are expected this week, with the risk of wintery conditions developing at the weekend. However, this week looks as though it will hold off the snow for another while.
A forecaster said: "Cool but mainly dry over the next 5 days with very little rainfall for most areas. Rain in Northwest Wednesday will track down over country but break up as it does. Total rainfall forecast up to Friday from three different weather modes shown here. Oh no snow showing either."
Here is a more detailed look at Met Eireann's national forecast.
