Every week a Guardian Money reader submits a question, and it's up to you to help him or her out – a selection of the best answers will appear in next Saturday's paper.
This week's question
Any answers? We can (just) afford to buy a 25% stake in a two-bed shared ownership flat that's selling for £330,000. The mortgage and rent bill will be £1,200 a month – we earn £2,300. I'd love to hear how other readers have got on with shared ownership. Is it a good idea?
