After Mouni Roy, Farhan Akhtar and Vikrant Massey, it is Shahid Kapoor’s sister Sanah Kapur who is all set to tie the knot this year. The star sister is reportedly getting married tomorrow in Mahabaleshwar.
According to a report in a news portal, Sanah, who is Pankaj Kapur and Supriya Pathak’s daughter, will be tying the knot with Seema and Manoj Pahwa’s son Mayank. The report quoted a source saying that the wedding is happening in Mahabaleshwar and the family has already reached the venue. While the Mehendi and sangeet functions are happening today, the wedding is scheduled for tomorrow. It’s reportedly an intimate ceremony, which they have been planning for a while.
The report also added that the couple got engaged a while back. The Pahwas and the Kapurs have been family friends for many years.
Sanah made her big-screen debut with the film ‘Shaandaar’ which had Shahid and Alia Bhatt in the lead roles. The film also featured their father Pankaj Kapur.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Shahid Kapoor is awaiting the release of his upcoming film, ‘Jersey’ which is all set to hit the theatres on April 14, on the auspicious occasion of Baisakhi. The movie is an official Hindi remake of a Telugu film of the same name. It also stars Mrunal Thakur in the lead role.
‘Jersey’ will lock horns with the Yash starrer ‘KGF: Chapter 2’ at the box-office.
