Is Scotland v Cyprus on TV or live stream? How to watch Euro 2020 qualifier

The Steve Clarke Scotland era is set to begin this weekend as we hope to get back on the road to Euro 2020 against Cyprus.

The ex-Kilmarnock boss’ appointment has renewed at least a sliver of optimism after the disaster in Kazakhstan and struggle in San Marino that ultimately ended Alex McLeish’s reign.

Three points would leave things looking a little better for Scotland ahead of a daunting trip to Belgium next week.

First up are the Cypriots at Hampden – a game that gives Clarke a good chance at starting with a win.

There is capital interest as well. Hearts defender John Souttar was included in the squad along with Marc McNulty , who spent the second part of the 2018/19 season loan at Hibs from current club Reading.

Not going to Hampden? Don’t worry, Edinburgh Live has you covered for how and when to watch, ref details and match betting odds.

When is the game?

Saturday 8 June, kick-off 7.45pm.

Is it on TV?

Yes, the game is on Sky Sports Main Event. Coverage begins at 7pm. Subscribers can also stream via the SkyGo app.

Who’s the ref?

Ola Hobber Nilsen of Norway will be in charge at Hampden. He’ll be assisted by compatriots Tom Harald Gronevik and Geir Isaksen. Kristoffer Hagenes is fourth official.

Odds

Scotland 1/2

Draw 14/5

Cyprus 6/1
