Actor Salman Khan has taken it upon himself to resolve the differences between his brother,
actor-filmmaker Arbaaz Khan and his wife, actor Malaika Arora Khan. The two have been in news after reports surfaced that their marriage is troubled. Malaika has allegedly moved out of Arbaaz’s house with their 14-year-old son.
According to entertainment website spotboye.com, Salman had a chat with Malaika and requested her to reconsider her decision of ending the marriage. Arbaaz appears to be in a mood for reconciliation and recently spoke about her on a television show as well. “When you achieve something or someone, you don’t want to lose the person. I love Malaika but I’m possessive about her. It wasn’t like this when she was younger or when I was new to the relationship, but it has happened now. She is very precious and dear to me. I love her more than anything else in the world. I’m afraid of losing her now,” he said on the show.
Arbaaz recently wished Malaika’s parents, Joyce and Anil Arora, on their anniversary as well. “Happy birthday to my wonderful mil @joycearora hope you have a great day and fantastic year ahead. Wish you all the happiness and good health love Arbu (sic),” he posted on Instagram.
There are also reports of Malaika’s parents visiting the Khan residence, Galaxy Apartments in Mumbai on Monday. The visit was reportedly an effort to bring the couple together. Arbaaz’s family also seems to be trying their best to unite the couple. On Wednesday night, Arbaaz, sister Arpita Khan Sharma and brother Sohail Khan were spotted with Malaika, her sister Amrita Arora Ladak and their parents at a suburban restaurant. Later, Arbaaz went to meet Salman, who was dining at a nearby restaurant with actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui, filmmaker Kabir Khan and his wife Mini Mathur.
Malaika and Arbaaz were also recently spotted together at the shoot of the finale episode of their show, Power Couple . According to sources, they were cordial with each other, which was very different from how they were when the shoot of the show began a few months back. According to sources on the sets, they never spoke to each other and even asked for separate rooms on the set.
