Rematch is almost here, and the community is eagerly waiting for the global release of the Rocket League-like title after several successful beta runs. But being a multiplayer title, Rematch heavily relies on its servers for a smooth in-game experience.
While server downtimes for maintenance and updates are relatively common, unforeseen server outages can result in a negative experience for many users, especially if they occur during a ranked match where promotion is on the line.
Here’s everything you need to know about the server status of Rematch, as well as how to check it.
Rematch server status

Although the Rematch servers initially held up decently, the last beta saw a significant rise in the number of participants, accompanied by an increase in complaints regarding in-game lag and server status. From drawing comparisons of the previous beta runs to simply stating that “servers are really bad,” there’s quite a bit for the developers to work on before the global release.
Given that the game has yet to be released on a full scale, it remains to be seen how the servers perform when the load increases.
How to check the server status of Rematch
Rematch is a new title, which means it has yet to receive any third-party support from websites like Downdetector to provide live server status updates. There’s also no dedicated portal from SloClap where you can check the current server status of the game. However, there are a few other ways by which you can confirm whether the servers are down or if you are facing trouble on your end.
One of the best ways to do so is by checking the official X (formerly Twitter) account of Rematch to see if there’s any official communication from the developers. You can also check the community forum on Reddit to see if anyone else is also facing similar problems. Additionally, Rematch has a Discord server where you can directly contact the moderators to confirm whether the servers are down or not.
