Is Obama a quitter?

There have been no sly puffs in the Oval office, or even under a tree in the White House rose garden. Before his election, Barack Obama said he would quit smoking in office and in an interview he has confirmed that he has not inhaled on the White House grounds.

But with a habit he has reportedly lived with for 20 years, the president has yet to come out and say he has actually quit. He is known to have tried, and in a previous, pre-presidential spread in the magazine Men's Health, he suggested how people might kick the cancer sticks.

"Eliminate certain key connections - that first cigarette in the morning, or after a meal, or with a drink," he said. "If you can eliminate those triggers, that should help."

As of yet we don't know whether he has taken his own advice.

And one other change still to take place in the White House? The first family have still to get a dog.

In an interview with CNN's Anderson Cooper, Obama said the puppy would likely come in the spring. Though he, his wife and his girls have yet to select a breed.

So, will he sneak a fag on hallowed ground? If temptation struck, what would you do? How can Obama shed his addiction to nicotine for good?
