When is Newcastle vs Wolves, what time is kick-off and is it on TV?

After a chaotic summer off the pitch, Newcastle finally get back to work on the pitch on Wednesday when they get their pre-season campaign under way.

The Magpies have made the long journey to China to compete in the Premier League Asia Trophy and they take on Wolves in the semi-finals, at the 13,000 capacity Nanjing Olympic Sports Center Gymnasium.

It is the second time Newcastle have competed in the pre-season competition, having lost to Chelsea in the final of the 2003 version in Malaysia.

They will negotiate the competition having yet to appoint a permanent manager following the departure of Rafa Benitez.

Ben Dawson and Neil Redfearn will take temporary charge of the first team for the competition and will look to return to Tyneside with some sliverware.

When is Newcastle vs Wolves kick off?

The action gets under way at 11am (BST) on Wednesday. It will be directly followed by the second semi-final between Manchester City and West Ham.

Is Newcastle vs Wolves on TV?

Yes, this one is on TV.

The action will be broadcast live on both Sky Sports Main Event and Sky Sports Premier League, with coverage beginning at 10:45am.

Joselu has not travelled with the squad as he looks close to leaving the club, while under-23s stars Nathan Harker, Kelland Watts Owen Bailey, Matty Longstaff and Elias Sorensen will hope to get a chance to shine.

Wolves only have 12 senior players at their disposal. Matt Doherty will miss the tour through injury, while Raul Jimenez and Romain Saiss will not travel due to their international commitments.
