Is Newcastle vs Fulham on TV? Kick-off time, channel and how to watch Premier League fixture

Photograph: Getty Imaages

Fulham visit Newcastle in the Premier League on Saturday as the hosts seek to bounce back from a thrashing by Leeds last time out.

Fulham fought to draws against Liverpool and Brighton in their two most recent fixtures, leaving them 18th in the standings with five points, and they could escape the relegation zone – if briefly – with a win here.

And that might just be achievable against a Newcastle outfit whose confidence will no doubt have been knocked by their 5-2 loss to Leeds this week. A competitive match devolved into a thrashing in the final 13 minutes as Steve Bruce’s Magpies conceded three late on, and the manager will have told his players that much more resilience is needed from here on out.

A win at St James’ Park could see the hosts rise to the top half of the table – depending on how Saturday’s other fixtures play out.

Here’s everything you need to know about the Premier League tie.

When is it?

The game will kick off at 8pm BST.

How can I watch it?

The match will air live on Sky Sports Premier League. Subscribers can also stream it live on the Sky Sports website and SkyGo app.

What is the team news?

Aleksandar Mitrovic could return to Fulham’s starting line-up against his old team.

Newcastle, meanwhile, could look much-changed from their last outing due to the club’s recent coronavirus outbreak.

Confirmed line-ups

Newcastle: Darlow, Yedlin, Fernandez, Clark, Dummett, Almiron,Sean Longstaff, Shelvey, Ritchie, Wilson, Joelinton

Fulham: Areola, Aina, Andersen, Adarabioyo, Robinson, Zambo, Lemina, Decordova-Reid, Cairney, Lookman, Mitrovic

Odds

Newcastle: 6/4

Draw: 9/4

Fulham: 19/10

Prediction

Fulham will have gained some measure of confidence from their recent draws, and will see those results as a platform to push on and gain a much-needed win. Newcastle, however, will be desperate to make a point after being thrashed by Leeds last time out. Newcastle 1-1 Fulham.
