Is Newcastle United vs Chelsea on TV? Coverage details, live stream info, kick-off time and more

Newcastle United are still searching for their first win of the season as they get ready to host European champions Chelsea at St James' Park on Saturday.

The game, that kicks-off at 3pm, is the second home fixture since the £305m Saudi-led takeover was completed earlier this month following the 3-2 defeat against Tottenham Hotspur.

There will be a new face in the hotseat, however, with Graeme Jones set to take charge once again after he was appointed on an interim basis following Steve Bruce's departure.

Although the Magpies remain 19th in the Premier League, they did pick up a positive result against Crystal Palace last time out to put them on four points from nine matches.

Meanwhile, Chelsea are flying at the minute and sit at the top of the table after their 7-0 thrashing of Norwich City which earned them their seventh top-flight victory so far this term.

Here is everything you need to know ahead of Saturday’s encounter.

Can I watch it live on television?

No, the match will not be broadcast live on UK television. That also rules out a live stream.

Can I watch highlights?

Highlights will be available on the Sky Sports website and app at around 5.15pm. Highlights will also be shown on Match of the Day on BBC1 at 10.30pm on Saturday night, which will then be available on the BBC iPlayer.

Where can I listen?

Live commentary of the match will be broadcast on BBC Radio 5 Live.

How can I get updates during the match?

You can follow updates right here on The Chronicle throughout the 90 minutes for the very latest reaction.

Early team news

Graeme Jones is likely to undergo his pre-match press conference on Friday, where he will address the media on the latest surrounding Martin Dubravka and Paul Dummett.

After the draw at Palace, Jones also revealed that Joe Willock had been playing through the pain barrier since picking up a toe injury in September and that will be an issue which could be discussed.

Jonjo Shelvey is back available for selection after serving his one-game ban for the red card he was given in the defeat against Tottenham.

Chelsea, however, have a number of concerns, with Cesar Azpilicueta and Andreas Christiansen facing late fitness tests, whilst it's unlikely that Romelu Lukaku, Christian Pulisic and Timo Werner will play.
