Having a McDonald’s on Christmas Day might not be the obvious choice but some people might be tempted by the thought of a festive visit to the golden arches.
Plenty of people still have to work on Christmas Day and might fancy visiting the drive thru on their way in or out, or there might be some people suffering from the type of hangover only a Double Quarter Pounder With Cheese can fix.
If you’re visiting relatives who live far away you might fancy a little something to keep hunger at bay on the journey.

The answer, according to McDonald’s website is: 'Only a handful of McDonald's restaurants open on Christmas Day, please refer to the restaurant locator to confirm if your local restaurant is open during the Christmas period and what times they are trading.'
A McDonald’s spokesperson added: “Customers can use the Restaurant Locator tool on our website to check the festive opening hours of our restaurants.”
