Viewers were left disappointed today when they tuned in to ITV to watch This Morning , only to find it wasn't on.
The flagship daytime TV show has been cancelled to make way for coverage of the Rugby World Cup in Tokyo.
Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield enjoyed a day off from presenting duties while sports fans enjoyed Scotland v Samoa.
In a change to their usual scheduling, ITV will be airing the rugby from 10.30am to 1.30pm, meaning Loose Women is also cancelled.
But it is not for long as Holly and Phil and the Loose ladies return at their usual times tomorrow, Tuesday, October 1.
Twitter fan account @phill_hollyfans said: "These two [Holly and Phil] aren’t on today, but happy Monday the feeling you get when you’ve had a busy weekend and your at work."
Another, @Katie246 said: "Well that’s my Monday Ruined, no @thismorning"
The show will also be disrupted on Thursday when the RWC returns, but will be back on Friday with Ruth Langsford and Eamonn Holmes.
