Is it Teddy Time in New Orleans?

The New Orleans Saints are coming off more than just a loss to the Los Angeles Rams in Week 2. Not only did they lose in the rematch of the NFC Championship game, but they also lost their starting quarterback for the next several weeks.

With Drew Brees undergoing surgery on his throwing hand, it gives former Vikings quarterback Teddy Bridgewater another chance to show what he can do as a potential starting quarterback at the professional level.

The Saints are expected to also give Taysom Hill some extra reps.

Bridgewater, the former fan favorite in Minnesota, has an offense around him that should be able to help boost his play.

As hard as it may be for Vikings fans to see Bridgewater in a Saints uniform, this might be the best offense he has ever been apart of. With both Alvin Kamara and Michael Thomas on his side, Bridgewater will have plenty of options in his first meaningful start since his gruesome knee injury in 2016.

Bridgewater showed a lot of promise in the 2016 offseason, before going down right before the regular season began.

The Saints travel to Seattle this weekend to take on the Seahawks. Vikings fans can tune into this game Sunday at 3:25 PM on CBS if they want to watch their former quarterback get his chance to show that he can still be a starter in the NFL.
