After all the variables of bonus point, Typhoon Hagibis, bonus point and legal proceedings, Pool A of the Rugby World Cup has finally been decided.
Hosts Japan after beating all before them have topped the pool in scintillating fashion and will play South Africa in the quarter-finals this Sunday in Tokyo.
It means that Ireland will take on the defending champions and Pool B winners New Zealand in their bid to reach the World Cup semi-finals for the first time.
