Just 416 new Covid-19 cases were confirmed on Saturday as optimism grows that lockdown two is working in Ireland.
The 14-day-incidence rate when Ireland entered Level Five on midnight, Wednesday, October 21 was 302.5.
As of the latest Department of Health data, that figure is now down at 268.7 on October 30.
And the rates in the majority of counties are dropping too - just six have seen a rise in incidence rates since the beginning of lockdown.
Carlow, Laois, Mayo, Tipperary, Waterford and Wicklow have all seen small rises in the rates since lockdown began.
Places like Cavan and Monaghan however have begun to turn the tide and have seen their incidence rates drop sharply.
