The final Edinburgh derby of the season takes place this weekend, with the two sides separated by one position and three points in the Ladbrokes Premiership table.
The moods in both camps could not be more contrasting however. Hibs remain unbeaten under Paul Heckingbottom in the league after Sunday’s 0-0 draw with Celtic at Easter Road , in which they played well.
Hearts , despite reaching the Scottish Cup final, haven’t won in their last three league fixtures and were poor in Saturday’s 3-1 loss to Rangers at Tynecastle .
The last derby between the par came just three weeks ago. Hibs claimed their first win in Gorgie for six years, despite Hearts arguably playing better than they did when they won 1-0 back at Easter Road in December.
Craig Levein’s team will be out for revenge and aiming to win on their neighbours’ turf for the second time this season – something they haven’t done since 1996/97.
