The competitive action gets back underway on Friday night when Hearts host Dundee United in the Betfred Cup.
The Group A opener sees Robbie Neilson return to Tynecastle for the first time since leaving the manager’s job in 2016.
In the opposite dugout will be former mentor Craig Levein , who appointed him as Hearts boss back in 2014.
Both sides will expect to progress from the group, which also includes East Fife, Cowdenbeath and Stenhousemuir.
The Jambos were lucky to do so last year however, after being deducted two points for fielding the ineligible Andy Irving against Cove Rangers. They went on to reach the semi-final before being knocked out by eventual winners Celtic.
It’ll be the first chance for many Hearts fans to potentially get a look at new signings Craig Halkett and Conor Washington, while Jamie Walker will be assessed before the match.

Yes, the game will be shown live on BT Sport 1 and BT Sport 4K UHD. Coverage begins at 7.15pm.

Who’s the ref?
Kevin Clancy will be the man in the middle. He’s assisted by David Roome and Sean Carr, with Grant Irvine as fourth official.
